Lawrence Raymond Goodwin, 61, died on April 15, 2011 in Suquamish WA. He was born on October 20, 1949 in Renton, WA to Raymond and Audrey (Oberg) Goodwin.
He graduated from Shorecrest High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in Naval Air from 1970-74 as an airplane mechanic stationed at Whidbey Island. He also served as a mechanic in the Coast Guard Reserve from 1974-1976.
Larry was the owner of Suquamish Auto Repair and was a member of Poulsbo North Kitsap Rotary, ASA (Automotive Service Association), and SAC (Suquamish Advisory Committee). He enjoyed boating, gardening, golf and all things sports, condo camping, traveling, washing cars, 1960’s rock & roll music, tinkering and reading.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie Goodwin of Suquamish, son: Kyle Goodwin of Seattle, parents: Raymond Goodwin of Seattle, Jack and Audrey Foster of Seattle, brothers: Jack (Karleen) Goodwin of Mill Creek, Jay (Birgit) Goodwin of Lynnwood, Ray Jr. Goodwin of Redmond, Ron (Laurie) Foster of Camarillo, CA, 8 nieces and nephews: Andrea, Alexis, Jesse, Sonya, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Ashley, Desir’ee, and 6 great-nieces and nephews: Michael, Matthew, Kelsey, Leah, Chase, and Austin.
