This well deserved honor went to Kelly Wright, with Preedy Brother’s Tires, Inc. in Spokane.
Kelly has been involved with ASA-WA both on the unit level and state since 1992. He has been to every unit meeting in the state and took the presidents conference to the next level. He was on the insurance committee for six years and because of his guidance and leadership the retro program is the strongest it’s ever been and we were also able to pay off the state office. He has sat on advisory committees for two local colleges.
Kelly was instrumental in implementing the first ASA Washington business plan and under his watch the state office started sending out all the notices and Dateline electronically and making all the calls for each unit meeting throughout the state.
Some things you probably didn’t know about this years recipient is he left home at the age of 14 on a scholarship to the Alberta Ballet and in 1973 turned pro with the Moscow Ballet.
These are just a few of the accomplishments over many years, but there is one that stands out the most. It’s Kelly’s ability to keep things moving in the right direction with leadership, guidance and friendship. Kelly is a great leader and ASA-Washington is better today because of him. ASA-WA thanks you and Carolyn for your devotion.
