NWTDA MERGES WITH NWACA

Feb 13, 2023 | NWACA Tire Talk

The Northwest Tire Dealers Association (NWTDA) has merged with the Northwest Auto Care Alliance (NWACA) effective January 1, 2023.

Retiring executive director Dick Nordness, has agreed to work with the NWACA for a short time to help make a smooth transition.

The dues structure for NWTDA will remain the same price for 2023 and NWACA will send out dues invoices and anniversary dates as was done in the past.  As an example, if members’ anniversary date is June 1, their dues are paid to the end of May and on June 1, 2023 the member will receive an invoice from NWACA for the annual dues.  Annual dues will remain at the current price until 2024 and at the anniversary date the dues will increase 20%.  The 20% increase was the scheduled dues set by the NWTDA board of directors back in March of 2022.

Effective January 1, 2023 all NWTDA members will become NWACA members and NWACA will take over the administrative duties.

NWACA will be producing Northwest Tire Talk, a newsletter just for tire dealers.  This will be an electronic newsletter sent out 6 times a year to all members.

NWACA will work with lobbyists in Washington and Oregon to provide legislative information on proposed legislation that would affect the tire industry.

The Workers Compensation “RETRO” program for Washington members and the pricing will remain the same throughout 2023.

The Tire Industry Association’s training program will be available through NWACA and Dick Nordness will continue to do local CTS training through 2023.
