Congratulations to longtime BTC Automotive Technology Instructor Dan Beeson for receiving a Dale P. Parnell Faculty Distinction Recognition Award from the American Association of Community Colleges!
Dan is one of only 32 instructors nationwide to receive this year’s award. He has been teaching at BTC for 29 years, and he has been instrumental in training our community’s automotive workforce, with a focus on high-quality, hands-on lab training and partnerships that provide real-world experience for students.
“I have had the privilege of supporting many students over my almost three decades of teaching,” Beeson says. “I have watched students mature and grow, not only in their technical competence but in their personal lives as well. As students build confidence, I have repeatedly witnessed transformations that completely change their life’s trajectory. The pride I feel watching them graduate and begin the journey into their careers fuels my passion year after year.”
