After graduating from Ferndale High School, he furthered his education at the General Motors Academy in Tigard, Oregon.
Pete and his wife, Nita, have deep roots in the Ferndale area, with family history dating back to the late 1800s. Together, they have proudly run Pete’s Auto Repair for over 50 years, providing reliable service to their neighbors and friends. Their business is not just a place of work but a cornerstone of the community, reflecting their dedication and love for Ferndale.
Beyond their business, Pete and Nita have shown an extraordinary commitment to community service. Pete’s volunteering efforts include active participation in the Kiwanis Club, the Auto Service Association, the Old Settlers Association for more than 33 years, and the Ferndale Park Board. Additionally, he dedicates countless hours to St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he has led the groundskeeping and maintenance since 2011, also serving as chef during church retreats. Pete is always ready to lend a helping hand to his parish.
