NWACA Kids First
When a Lifetime of Giving Meets an Unexpected Storm
Dear NWACA Members and Industry Partners,
For decades, Jerry Smith has been a mentor, advocate, and trusted friend to NWACA and to the automotive industry as a whole. His vision and leadership helped lay the foundation for what we proudly know today as the Automotive Training Expo (ATE), and his influence has shaped generations of shop owners, technicians, and leaders across our region.
Many of us are where we are today because Jerry invested his time, energy, and heart into this industry.
Today, Jerry needs our help.
Following a severe winter storm, Jerry’s home sustained significant damage, creating urgent repair needs and temporary housing challenges. With limited immediate assistance available — and compounded by recent health challenges — this situation has become especially difficult.
As an association built on collaboration, service, and taking care of one another, we now have the opportunity to step in — just as Jerry has stepped in for so many of us over the years.
If you are able, we encourage you to consider supporting Jerry through the GoFundMe campaign established on his behalf. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference during this challenging time.
Jerry has spent a lifetime giving back to our industry. Now it is our turn to give back to him.
If you prefer to support Jerry directly and avoid GoFundMe fees, you may also mail a check to:

On behalf of NWACA, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and continued commitment to our community. Your support — in any form — is deeply appreciated and truly makes a difference.
With gratitude,
Northwest Auto Care Alliance (NWACA)
